Jacquelyn was injured in a car accident in 2011. Diagnostic testing at the Los Angeles Minimally Invasive Spine Institute revealed that she suffered whiplash joint injuries to the neck and disc herniations and tears at L4/5 and L5/S1. In January she underwent radiofrequency rhizotomy, a procedure that uses an electrode to deliver energy to a painful nerve in the neck joint. Later in January Jacquelyn underwent endoscopic L4/5 and L5/S1 discectomy. After several weeks Jaquelyn’s neck pain was reduced by 100% and her back pain was reduced by 86%. Disability due to her neck pain was reduced by 88% and disability due to her back pain was reduced by 78%.
